Hey neighbour,

It's Good Friday, which means that bottle shops are closed today, and retail hours are limited. But don’t let that stop you from having a good time, because there’s so much going on in the Inner West this Easter weekend for everyone.

On a practical note, there will be some public transport disruptions (more on that later), and daylight saving ends Sunday at 3am with clocks going back one hour, so don’t forget to factor that into your weekend planning. Now, here's what's on for the weekend.

A quick callout that best endeavours have been made to maintain accuracy, but events can and do get cancelled or rescheduled at the last minute. Be sure to double-check with the venue listings before you commit, to avoid disappointment.

INNER WEST NIGHTLIFE IS THRIVING

Source: Broadsheet

The NSW 24-Hour Economy Commissioner's State of the Night Report, released in February, names Newtown, Marrickville, and Enmore as the precincts driving the Inner West's nighttime economy forward. Mayor Darcy Byrne called it a vindication of council's approach to backing late-night venues rather than slowly strangling them.

Spending on accommodation, food, services, arts and recreation grew by 4.5 per cent in the last financial year, and one look at this Saturday's listings proves that the Inner West is buzzing. We love to see it.
