Hey neighbour,
Sana's throwing open the doors on its new Rozelle store this Saturday with a launch block party, $10 bowls, a DJ, wall space for local artists, and 200 free cookies up for grabs if you line up early enough. Sunday's looking equally eventful with yum cha back for its monthly sitting at the Bob Hawke Beer and Leisure Centre, and Little BIG is turning the Flour Mill courtyard into one big community LEGO build for the kids.
There's a family history DNA workshop in Burwood that’s worth a visit if your family tree's a bit of a mystery, and a Marrickville viet coffee outfit is doing its first real-life pop-up after months of Instagram teasers. All that, plus markets, live music, and more, right here in the Inner West.
Enjoy,
Seb
A COFFEE POP-UP IN A MARRICKVILLE CAT CAFE

After months of doing their thing on the 'gram, Mode is finally doing a real-life pop-up, landing at Cha and Zaks cat cafe this Sunday.
Live music comes courtesy of szn_syd, sweets from Anita Treat, and Tito Tacos Sydney is delivering the goods with a Filipino-Mexican street food menu. Four local sticker and art sellers will also be in attendance: The Calico Factory, Art N Mischief, Heart of Geek and The Jewel State of Mind. Add in Cha and Zaks' resident cats and you’ve got yourself a uniquely different way to spend your Sunday.

BAR SPOTLIGHT
Where’s Nick: Tucked into a former cake shop on Marrickville Road with no real signage to speak of, Where’s Nick is a spot that locals keep coming back to. Co-owner Julian spent years buying for The Oak Barrel, and it shows in a rotating list built almost entirely around natural, minimal-intervention wines from small producers. The space is unpretentious with mismatched furniture, murals, concrete floors, and a menu of Mediterranean share plates and house-made focaccia.
